My Biggest Flaws
1. I agonize over past errors and fantasize about the future because I’m afraid to deal with the urgency of the present.
2. Instead of using my issues to push me forward, I freeze up because I’m afraid to make mistakes.
3. My fears come from me comparing myself to my family. I look at how far they’ve gotten and I’ve somehow convinced myself that I can’t go further than that.
4. I have big dreams and I have the brains and capability to realize them, but I need to have the heart and the courage.
“And it’s me who is my enemy, me who beats me up. Me who makes the monsters, me who strips my confidence”. That’s one of the lines of a song that pretty much got me through junior high. It’s called “Me”, by Paula Cole. Good stuff.
